The War Room

The competition is tomorrow. As a coach, all I'm seeing are the loose ends. It's time to take a step back and realize the main goal is to have fun and problem solve as a team. I set up the table in my living room today. Kids could come by with their folks at their leisure and work on various tasks. It's amazing how the little bit of individual time really produces results. A couple of kids who struggled with focus and getting robot time had some major successes.

The competition will be intense, exciting and fun. Maybe even at times heartbreaking, but it will quickly be a dull memory compared to the season. The kids who remember the "and then it worked!" moment.
